Bug Fixes

  • Contingency Analysis: Allow device filters for CTG auto insert options to be cleared by entering blanks in aux file data and script commands.
  • Distributed Computation: An access violation could occur when starting Distributed Transient Stability if the case contained ContingencyPrimary results. This has been fixed.
  • File Formats: Fixed an issue that could cause out of memory errors when saving extremely large cases or other large files.
  • PV and QV Curve (PVQV) Tool: When using consolidation and saving archive cases with PV analysis, contingencies are not saved because the definitions can be different than how they are originally defined. Now primary contingencies are no longer saved as well.
  • Transient Stability: In stability, PowerWorld was using a generator's internal transformer off-nominal tap ratio StepTap even if the internal step-up transformer's StepR and StepX where both zero. We have now changed it so that tap ratio is ignored if both StepR and StepX are zero. We were seeing strange results in MMWG cases which had a StepTap set as 0.205 with StepR=StepX=0.0
