Training Overview

Simulator Training

PowerWorld Corporation provides software training in the use of PowerWorld Simulator and add-on products OPF, SCOPF, OPF Reserves, ATC, PVQV, Transient Stability, and SimAuto. Our training also covers some basics of the engineering, operations, and economics of interconnected power systems. We can also provide custom software training, tailored to your interests and availability, delivered at your site. Who Should Attend?

System planning and operation technicians, engineers, electricity market analysts and managers involved in power system network analysis. Also all individuals involved in the presentation of power system network topics to technical and non-technical audiences will benefit from this course.

Course participants are NOT required to be licensed users of PowerWorld Simulator.

Equipment

All computer equipment for the course will be provided for training delivered in Champaign. Participants may be required to bring computers for training delivered at other locations.

Course Location and Schedule

Training provided in Champaign will be held at PowerWorld Corporation, located in the Strata Building at 2001 South First Street (Champaign, Illinois). The I Hotel and Conference Center is less than 1/4 mile from PowerWorld Corporation. The Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites are also nearby.
