Available Transfer Capability Dialog

The Available Transfer Capability dialog provides an interface for performing and viewing the results of Available Transfer Capability Analysis. ATC analysis is typically only done on the present power system state or scenario (called Single Scenario ATC Analysis). Click here for information on performing multiple scenarios analysis.

To open the ATC dialog, go to the Add Ons ribbon tab and select Available Transfer Capability (ATC) from the ATC ribbon tab. The dialog opens to the Single Scenario ATC Analysis version with the Options page, Common Options sub-tab visible. Starting in Version 22 you can also choose to add multiple directions ATC.

The ATC dialog is divided in three pages: Options, Analysis, and Result. If Analyze Multiple Scenarios and/or Multiple Directions has been checked, the layout of the ATC dialog is slightly different—see Multiple Scenarios ATC Dialog and Multiple Directions ATC Dialog. There are more options in the Advanced Options sub-tab of the Options page.

In addition, the following buttons can be used to save/load ATC analysis settings:

Save/Load Settings

ATC Analysis settings and results can be saved by selecting Save Settings on the ATC dialog. This allows you to repeat the analysis without having to reconfigure the settings. Select Load Settings to retrieve previously saved settings.
