Transient Stability Analysis Options: Remedial Actions

 

The Remedial Actions sub-tab is found on the Options page of the Transient Stability Analysis dialog. This contains options for running transient stability and including remedial actions in the simulation.

Remedial actions that are defined for use with steady-state analysis can also be used with transient stability. Remedial actions are not included by default and some features that are used with steady-state analysis are not available with transient stability. There are features available to better understand what actions and fields are translated for use with transient stability.

 

 

Run Remedial Action Validation

Not all actions and fields are available for use with transient stability. Click this button to validate remedial actions prior to running transient stability. Here is more info on the validation process.

Show Valid Remedial Action Fields

Clicking this button will open a table listing all of the available fields by object type.

Include Remedial Actions in Transient Analysis

Select this check-box if remedial actions are to be included in the transient stability analysis.
