Weather Related Models and Information Dialog

 

Weather Related Models were added in Version 23.

The Weather Related Models and Information dialog contains two tabs

Weather Stations

This tabs contains a list of the WeatherStation objects defined in the case. This objects define locations where weather measurements such as temperature, wind speed, and cloud cover percent can be assigned. See the help topic on WeatherStation Objects for more information.

Power Flow Weather (PFW) Models

This tab provides a location to define power flow weather models, which can be used by the Time Step Simulation Tool.

As of the initial release of PowerWorld Simulator Version 23, the following list of generator-based power flow weather models we available.

PFW Model Summary Tab

This table is a summary of the presently defined Power Flow Weather Models in the case. It will list each model along with a count of the "Active and Online", "Active", and "Inactive"

Available Power Flow Weather Models

This will be a list of all PFW Models defined in the case.

Generator PFW Models

This is a case information display showing all generators in the case along with some helpful fields associated with weather models showing information on the Active PFW Models and the Weather Stations objects associated with the generators.
