Contingency Analysis: Results Tab
The Results tab of the Contingency Analysis dialog contains many options for viewing the results of a contingency analysis run.
- View Results by Element : navigate the list of limit violations by the element which is violated.
- View Results by Contingency : navigate the list of limit violations by the contingency which caused the violation. Essentially shows the same layout as seen on the Contingencies Tab.
- Contingency Violations List : get a combined list of all contingency/limiting element pairs that result in a violation. This table has special right-click options to View/Modify Existing Violation CTG Note and Create Violation CTG Note that will provide information about Violation CTG Notes(Added in Version 20)that apply to particular violations. See the Violations CTG Notes help for more information on Violation CTG Notes.
- Violation CTG Notes: Violation CTG Notes are special notations about contingency violations that commonly occur in your system. If you know ahead of time that a particular contingency often causes violations on a particular set of branches, then you may want to provide some text notes about these. The Violation CTG Notes can then be shown on the a list of contingency violations.
- Violation CTG Injection Sensitivities: Violation CTG Injection Sensitivities are shift factor sensitivities that are calculated for each contingency violation. This list contains all of the injection sensitivities that are calculated for each violation for each contingency.
- What Occurred : Get a list of actions that occurred during the selected contingency. This is especially useful for identifying those actions conditional on Model Criteria being applied. It is also helpful when using the special Open with Breakers contingency actions because the list will indicate which breakers need to be opened to isolate the devices.
- Contingency Violation Matrices : Provides access to a dialog where a matrix of contingency versus limit elements can be created with entries showing the flow or voltage of the element to the respective contingency.Text File Report Writing : provides options for writing out a text file report
- Summary : a simple text summary showing the progress of the contingency analysis run.
